Hotel Accommodations:   Comfort Inn, 136 Plaza Drive, Dixon (just off

$83.99 – King bed

$79.99 – 2 Queen beds

The 2012 Illinois Sister Cities Conference will commence with registration from 3:00-5:00 P.M. April 20, 2012 at the Comfort Inn.

Registration
Fees:               Friday & Saturday Conference Package:  $80.00 per person

Friday Banquet Only:  $35.00 per person

Saturday:  $50.00 per person

Dinner Friday Evening:  Dinner is at the Post House, located at the corner of Galena Avenue and Second Street.
Parking is available both across the street and in the municipal lot adjacent to the facility.

Social Hour:    6:30 P.M.  Complimentary wine & beer will be available.

Dinner:  7:30 P.M.   A cash bar will be available for your  enjoyment.

Saturday Conference & Luncheon:

Dixon Historical Center located at 205 W 5^th St, Dixon, IL.

on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

at the Roselle American Legion, 344 Maple Ave. in Roselle.
Catering is provided by Jolly Inn – the best in Polish Cuisine.

The Polish Band Format will be providing entertainment.

Call for Submissions:  Young Artists and Authors Showcase 2012Now is the time to plan your submission to the international Young Artists and Authors Showcase. Be it a piece of 2D art, poetry, or a short essay, this program is a great way to recruit young people to participate in your Sister City program. All 13 – 18 year olds are eligible to submit work, based on the 2012 theme of “Youth as a Catalyst for Change.”Visit the website (http://www.sister-cities.org/programs/youth.cfm) to learn more about submission guidelines and to print entry forms. The deadline is April 30, 2012.
