Mount Prospect Celebrates Bastille Day July 14th at the Mount Prospect Public Library.

The Family French Festiva  of Mount Prospect is coming up on Saturday, July 14 (Bastille Day!) 11 am – 12 noon, at the Library, and I hope many of you plan to attend.  Bring the kids, grandkids, neighbor kids, and yourself!  Here what’s in store—

…A festive event in honor of Mount Prospect’s Sister City of Sèvres, France. Rose Nadolsky, from the Old Town School of Folk Music, will get everyone up and singing (in French and English!), clapping, dancing, and having a great time. The Mount Prospect Sister Cities Commission and Library Foundation cosponsor this program.

Our Festival has become a favorite family event and gives us a great opportunity to tell the community about Sister Cities and Sevres.   Hope to see you on the 14th, to represent the Commission. Please let me know if you are planning to attend so I can add you to the registration list.  Or click onto www.mppl.org/events or call the Library  at 847-253-5675 to sign up yourself.

Also, fyi, during the week of July 6-13, there will be a lobby display at the Library to feature the 2012 Book Crossing books, and our intercontinental book program with Sevres.

Merci.

Mary Ann
